During my break I did many things but didn't take much pictures. At the beginning of break I didn't do much in the first couple days. The only thing I did at the beginning was go to my job shadow at a dentist and relax at home. I had fun at my job shadow because there were many different patients and on the day before Christmas eve the doctor invited me to eat lunch with them. His wife cooked many good dishes such as rice, chicken, fried dumpling, tofu dishes, and many more. I enjoyed this moment because it made me realized that I got close to the employees and my mentor. Other then my job shadow I went to many different places with my family. We went bowling, skiing and sledding, shopping, movie theater and more. I was happy that I was able to spend time with my family and cherish the memories. Spending time with them made me be thankful for having them. Here is a photo of all of us after coming back from skiing/sledding.

The days when I would stay home I didn't want to waste my time so I did many small things. The main one was doing art. I had the opportunity to be able to do some watercolor painting, digital art portrait and small sketches. Other then art I also read some books and some stories online. Many hate reading but I enjoy it. Then lastly I watched tv most of the time in the afternoons or night. I tried to finish some series I started but didn't have a chance to finish and I was only able to finish one series. Here at the bottom is two watercolor paintings I did of my friends I still have one left to do before I gift them to them. When I do portraits I usually use skin tones and natural colors but this time I tried something new, similar colors and splashes of paint.
